1. How many characters can I have?
Three character maximum. Death or deletion of characters reopens that slot. Only one Gorgon per member.
2. How does magic tie into the site?
Magic has been a part of Earth since the very beginning, but as humans developed technology more, the weaker it got. Now, more than a thousand years into the future, wild magic flourishes with Earth's Reclamation. Uncontrollable, unpredictable, wild magic.
3. Can I come up with my own ability for a naga character?
To lower the risk of people creating god-like characters, your character's magic ability will be chosen by one of the staff members.
4. Can I have a naga character?
Not at this moment in time. Nagas are extremely rare, and only happen when they are attacked by a Lamia in an area where there is a high concentration of magic. Nagas can be purchased by members in the shop for $2000 or earned in rare events.
5. Can my character die/have kids?
Yes. Because of the 2-1-2 rating, you can definitely die. Mild sexual innuendos will be allowed, but bring the graphic stuff off of the site. Proboards ToS guys, not mine. However if you die, you are more than welcome to replace that with a new character.
6. Is the Lamia an actual member group, or is it NPC? Can we RP those in our posts?
The Lamia is considered an NPC, so you can RP them in your posts. However, using them in your posts is a privilege. If we find you abusing this system, you won't be allowed to RP them any longer.
7. Instead of creating a naga, can my character be bitten by a Lamia and be turned into one?
Considering the rarity of actually turning into the naga, your character has a .02% chance of becoming one. In this case, one of the admins will roll a dice and inform you via PM if you have a chance of becoming one, dying, or turning into a Lamia. In the event that you turn into a Lamia, your character will be considered completely dead and unable to be roleplayed.
8. What kind of weapons can I have?
No guns. Absolutely no guns. This is a futuristic post-apocalyptic role-play. We're looking at weapons like swords, daggers, knives,
crossbows, spears, ect.
9. How do I role-play?
If you're a completely new member of proboards, you just string sentences together. It's taking a character and responding to certain situations. We don't use asterisks, those little stars above the eight on your keyboard. It's paragraph style, meaning you just describe the things around you and your thoughts. EX: Sally sells sea-shells on the sea-shore. Why does she sell sea-shells?
